Roofing in Blind Bay

Cottages close to the water, with wind on the lake side and trees over the roof. Call now.

Blind Bay is the next bay east of Sorrento, still on the north shore of Shuswap Lake. Lots often sit tight to the water. Drives are short and steep. Many places are used in summer and shut for the winter. Travel from Salmon Arm can be part of the price.

Waterfront lots and the wind

There isn't much distance from the eave to the dock. Wind off the lake works on the flashing and the lake-side edge. A lifted shingle over a deck is a repair if the rest of the roof is sound. Tell us which way the slope faces.

If water is inside, put a bucket under it and stay off a wet roof. That's theleak page. Shingles in the yard after a night of wind arestorm damage.

Where a truck can sit

Some drives are too steep or too narrow for a loaded truck. Say so when you call. A switchback, or a spot where we have to carry bundles in, changes the visit. If the only parking is on the lane, we would rather know before we leave Salmon Arm.

Tall firs and cedars over these lots drop needles into the valleys. Green on the north side is themoss and gutters page, unless the shingles under it are already bald.

Gate codes and a closed cottage

A place empty from October can take a leak in a January rain, and nobody sees it until the first trip up. If you aren't there, say who has the key and the gate code, and whether a dog is in the yard. Photos from the road are enough to start.

Say Blind Bay when you call. Neighbour notes are on the Shuswap page. Typical ranges are on thecost page. We confirm the price before we start. Call +1 (236) 835-2025.
